Sugarcane juice?
Sugarcane juice is the sweet, syrupy, pressed product from peeled sugarcane. Sugarcane juice is not pure sugar. The nutritional composition of sugarcane juice consists of about 70-75% water, 10-15% fibre, and 13-15% sugar in the form of sucrose.
Sugarcane juice is also known to be a rich source of phenolic and flavonoid anti-oxidants. Since sugarcane juice is not processed unlike most sugary drinks, sugarcane juice retains it’s natural composition, including vitamin and mineral content.
Sugarcane juice also contains electrolytes, such as potassium, helping restore energy stores in your muscles after performing exercise.
